Iraqis aren’t pleased with the ISG either
Iraqis don’t seem to be happy with the ISG report, either (see this).
I have a question: if the Republicans had won the election, would we even be hearing much about this report? After all, it’s been brewing since last March, and I don’t recall it being all that newsworthy before. But after the election it became the most breathlessly awaited media event since the world wondered who shot JR (for those too old to recall the latter, see this for a glimpse of simpler, kindler, gentler times).
I was watching Glenn Beck and he had an Iraqi professor from Toronto on who said the report was getting a lot of attention on the new Iraqi call-in shows. That’s right, Iraq has call-in shows now. Viva le liberte! Or something.
ack. Was NOT getting a lot of attention in Iraq.

You know those dead guys that walked out the Parliament under Maliki, Neo? Bush may have some approbations against assassination and execution of members of the Iraqi government. But if you walk out of the government, technically, you are no longer part of the government. Open game licenses, Neo, open game licenses.
The inability to take advantage of the situation, and of the strengths/weakenesses of the enemy, is one reason why Bush is besieged on all sides, both domestic and foreign.
