Anonymities Anonymous — 3 Comments

  1. I would never want to be famous, as in recognizable by many, for any reason. I like going where I want when I want, all comfy in a blanket of anonymity.

  2. I’ve only very recently decided to start blogging but under anonymity to me seems the most logical option at the moment.
I am a psychiatrist. I like to leave work at work and keep my political opinions unintermingled with my professional life.
I could throw off the anonymity and probably manage to cope with the extra time spent on bloggers who are patients seeking “medical advice” and discreditors who dismiss my political arguments due to the fact I prescribe mind-altering drugs. But I definitely could not handle the never ending worry my wife would have over this and other professional issues should I choose to go “nomi-naked”.
/raises hand. My name is “Last Door” and I’m an “anonymite”. …sniff….

  3. While I have nothing against those who use screen names when bloging or posting comments, those who attack, insult and/or slander others while using them have no integrity, honesty or honor and are cowards for doing so

As an Agnostic, Atheist Activist, I am very disappointed by the Athiests in an Athiest forum named “Rants ‘n Raves” who hide behind their screen names while acting like idiots.
