Hillary and Biden: what a difference four years make — 6 Comments

  1. Even four years later, I am still astounded that the Democrats, especially including their leadership, chose Obama over Hilary. It just shows how they have become the party of emotion, sentiment, and moral posturing. I caught a bit of Cory Booker’s speech at the convention, and couldn’t get over the looks of dewy-eyed dreaminess on the faces of the delegates as they listened to the junior-high fluff he was spouting at them.

Maybe we should be glad they went with Barack. I think Hilary really would have ushered in a long period of liberal dominance. I think she’s more rigid and ideological than Bill, but she knows how to deal and would have been very effective in extending the Clinton legacy.

  2. roc scssrs, ^yes^ . . .

Exactly the point I was making a couple of days ago when I argued [partly with myself!] that an incompetent leftie (Barack Obama) is probably not as dangerous as a competent leftie (Hillary Clinton).

  3. The MSM gushed 4 years ago that this was be the smartest man to occupy the office in recent memory. How many years does a genius need to solve the problems devised by
    lesser men?

  4. I’m sure you all noticed the arrogant upward tilt of the megalomaniac’s chin? Boy, am I tired of that phizz.

If anyone missed it, the Clint Eastwood interview with, of all things, “The Carmel Pine Cone” [local paper, gotta love that] was real good. He admitted that he was winging it, but observed that he said exactly what he meant to say. He also had a couple more jabs at the lefties, which were fun to read.

Anyone else think the Republicans could have a heyday running old Democrat footage against them? especially against Hussein. They’d be spoiled for choice.

  5. I loved the comment someone made somewhere that “if Obama thinks he inherited a terrible economy when he was elected in 2008, wait till he has to deal with the economy he’ll inherit if he’s elected in 2012”!

  6. It doesn’t matter to me whether they would have nominated Hillary or Obama in 2008. Hillary would have been just as bad. Unlike her husband, she is clearly far to the left of the public.

Maybe the Democrats will get someone that might be good in 2016, but I don’t really see them fielding anyone who can possibly challenge the Republicans right now.
