Going after medical, by way of Obamacare, was instrumental in this. Doctors, by and large, operated as small businesses. Small businesses have had a target on their backs for years and have suffered under the demands of having to more and more take on the burden of the corporate bureaucratic requirements by way of regualtion. Not a fit! This was on the radar screen for years and now we have a mess, as detailed in the rise and acceptance of socialism and far worse care etc etc–see Neo’s hospital post.

Part of the hostility to ‘big business’ is driven by the fact that most contacts an individual has are with corporations, not government agencies, and too many of them are becoming equally or even more dysfunctional.
