During Fox News shows Watters or Laura Ingram this evening, the word was discloed that Trump is doing a major address Thursday evening from the White House on election security. (I was working with the TV on, not really paying attention except occasionally.)

Of course, what we really want is prosecutions and perp walks of the villains! Desperately. But if only the SAVE America Act gets passed, this could be enough, despite that disappointment.

There is a lot of work being done by volunteers across many states to clean up the voter rolls (my wife is one such volunteer). But we live in West Virginia where the county clerks responsible for maintaining the voter rolls are trying their best to keep them up to date. Unfortunately this is not the case in California and other blue states. If the voter rolls were properly updated, photo ID was required to vote, and adequate signature verification was required in all states, Democrats would indeed have a very hard time winning elections which Elissa Slotkin admits.

“It would be hard for any Democrat in any state to win any election,” Slotkin said of the SAVE America Act.”

I’ve written many posts on the subject of voting fraud. The summary version is that any time a significant number of people don’t trust the system, that’s a big problem in itself; plus that there is almost no way to prove fraud once it has happened so it MUST be prevented. That means that – among other things – recounts will not help when votes are fraudulent in the first place. And there are many different ways to cast fraudulent votes.

In the case of non-citizens voting, even a single case is bad and should be prosecuted.

But when I discussed how much it was happening, I was talking about whether any elections – especially national ones – had the results changed because of the existence of non-citizen votes.
