“A tapestry of lies can easily unravel, when a loose ‘thread’ within that tapestry is plucked.” That seems to be what happens generally with political changers (see “Real Walk Away”).

However, that’s also how some people end up going full conspiracy theorist (and I don’t mean that as an insult to anyone who questions the consensus on anything, I mean people who really get to the point where they think the mainstream narrative of any event must be wrong). They see that they’ve been lied to once and then they think they’re always being lied to.

Young one who (without knowing why) kneeled for George Floyd with the rest of the office, accidentally watched Charlie Kirk vids. Now is disgusted with the rest of her co-workers who claimed Kirk, racist, sexist, etc. etc.
And questioning Floyd situation and many other things.

My favorite changer is Sasha Stone. She was deep in lefty world for decades, has suffered greatly for leaving it, and has the most cogent understanding on what makes the lefty “elite” and its followers tick.

I like Jenny Holland, an American who lives in Ireland, a lot too.

On the topic of changers, I sometimes wonder about the permanence of the change. I’m thinking of Candace Owens, who seems to have changed multiple times. How likely is it that someone who changes once will change again? No reflection on the many here who changed once and for all (including myself, though I was 18 when I saw the light, and never looked back).

Wow, is she impressive. She has answered an aspect I note in all the left friends, but she brought it front and center. That is their sense of being so vastly morally superior to anyone on the right, and how they then use that as a shield to keep them in their bubble and not let anything penetrate it.
