Question might be whether hitting, or avoiding, foreign forces fighting for the regime are issues.
Hit them all, we’re not afraid of anybody. Miss them, we’re careful about who’s the real bad guy here.
Delay is bad for a number of reasons, but hitting a target which CHANGES everything is a pretty good coup for PR purposes, although those with more granular knowledge might see through it, along with the additional dead.

I read that China has started conducting military exercises in Iran. If true, then that could be causing the pause. China may be using their military personnel as human shields for the Iranian government. It isn’t that we couldn’t handle it, but to do so means attacking Chinese military personnel and assets.

If so, I hope it isn’t a case of “too little, too late”.

The protestors had momentum. They weren’t exactly winning in the streets, but they were holding their own, they were motivated by the idea that “Trump is coming to help us”, they even “renamed” streets after him.

Then…crickets.

Tens of thousands of them were killed and no help came. I’m sure the question in their minds became “should we keep doing this and getting more and more of our neighbors and family members killed?”

The regime killed and arrested enough people to finally get the streets back under control.

I’m sure the Iranians that were so hopeful in the beginning are pretty damn disheartened now. If Trump attacks now, will it accomplish anything? Will the Iranians rise up again or will they assume he’s going to leave them twisting in the wind again?

Time will tell.

I hope so, too, that Trump attacks soon. Tho it’s far better to attack later and be successful in regime change, with few American casualties.
Isn’t losing 100 US lives far better than losing 1000 by going in sooner a week or two weeks earlier? Even if that means another 1000, or 10,000 peaceful protesters murdered by the regime? (Trump will be, is being blamed for the killing in any case.)

A key issue is the Persian army, as more Arab non-Iranians join the regime killers. There seem some reports of some Army units joining the protesters.
Despite Persian & many Arabs being Shia, there remains an ethnic issue.

I suspect, but also hope, that Mossad contacts are infecting many Persian soldiers with the idea that they will be fighting and losing, and be guilty of civilian murdering, unless they join the protests. While those who join early become heroes & leaders…

It’s too late for any Velvet revolution. More like the Serb-Croat war in the breakup of Yugoslavia (another country gone).

Are the Iranians ready to fight back, or only protest? And die? In a series of massacres, which will be called by some genocide?

Where is clear UN condemnation and description of the killing as crimes against humanity?

I also thought a lot of Greenland talk was a distraction from the buildup for Iranian regime change.
