“Are you getting a cut of the drug action?”
From my reading, this is a common guess, or assumption.
And maybe some are funded by Narcan makers.
Then there are those who feel plenty safe, and are enjoying the demise of a less protected America by the crime that accompanies illegal drugs.
I am appalled by the arrogant people who act like the illegal drug influx only hurts those involved directly.
Blaming & shaming America’s appetite in order to paint the suppliers — including cartels — as just doing a job, filling a need.

I’m thankful for Trump’s stronger, wider “war on drugs”.
Like many issues, I see the best approach as “working it from all sides”.
Lessening the supply is akin to plugging the holes of a leaky — or flooding — boat.

Billboards are popping up outside Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune urging soldiers to disobey orders. “Marines: Not what you signed up for?” asks one. “Did You Go Airborne Just To Pull Security for ICE?” asks another one. The website urges soldiers to use encryption and offers ‘counselling’ on ‘disobeying immoral orders’

This is one of the great things about your blog – I learn stuff. I never knew that such cloud formations had a name!

And the name makes perfect sense as the clouds do sort of resemble fish scales – for whatever it is worth, mackerel does sounds better than “fish” sky or “trout” sky.

Thanks for the update on Mamdani’s appointments. I have a nephew who is NYPD and am concerned about him. The rest of his family have retreated to NC, but he and his wife are expecting so moving right now may not be the best choice. they live on the Island, so maybe he could transfer to Nassau county PD if he doesn’t want to move.
