I did see that the illustrious Ilhan Omar had changed—or was somehow coerced into changing—her initial refusal to issue a statement to some sort of condemnation. That must have been galling for her but there’s times, I guess, when a (compromised) politician’s gotta make some comprises…

These shootings don’t bother those two or any elected Democrat in Washington DC one damn bit. In fact quietly they are cheering.

Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being with malice aforethought. Every murder perpetrated by poison, lying in wait, or any other kind of willful, deliberate, malicious, and premeditated killing; or committed in the perpetration of, or attempt to perpetrate, any arson, escape, murder, kidnapping, treason, espionage, sabotage, aggravated sexual abuse or sexual abuse, child abuse, burglary, or robbery; or perpetrated as part of a pattern or practice of assault or torture against a child or children; or perpetrated from a premeditated design unlawfully and maliciously to effect the death of any human being other than him who is killed, is murder in the first degree.

Federal first degree murder is still punishable by death. The prosecutor should argue for this, showing the jury the video of the act, particularly the brutal repeated attacks on the woman, which show massive premeditation and intent. There should be NO plea deal, with a confession and presumably hordes of video and physical evidence (Gun, likely gun powder on the mans hands and clothes, clear ballistics matching to the gun and likely prints on magazine(s) brass and gun) this particularly heinous act deserves the ultimate punishment.

Up until that time, religious anti-Jewishness was generally pretty virulent in German-speaking regions (cf. George Mosse) but not, of course, only there, as demonstrated by the Dreyfus Trial and events in Tsarist Russia.

It signals a desire to replace Judeo-Christian ethics with the tyranny of either fundamental Islam or Marxism. Psychopaths and other dysfunctional people are the useful idiots for this campaign of hatred. We have been infiltrated by these people, and the battle is no longer “over there.” It’s right here in our midst.

I don’t think there is a coordinated master plan. Rather, it’s fueled by a shared hatred of the West and those allied with us, such as Israel.
It’s not new, but what is new is the way our universities have been infiltrated by leftist/pro-Islamic professors and foreign students who use the universities as bases of operations. Add in the pppropaganda efforts on social media, funding from CAIR/Leftist foundations, and you have an ugly mess right h ere in the USA.

They hide behind the right of free speech, but anytime a protest becomes violent or interferes with others right to go about their daily business unimpeded, it’s no longer lawful.

I think T rump’s crack down on foreign student visas and universities that won’t protect their students is the right thing to do. The left and CAIR will protest mightily – sure evidence that he’s on the right track.
