Count me in as not being bothered by naked links. The decision to click is yours. I’ve been coming here long enough to know whose links to click and whose to ignore. When Art Deco posts one on an open thread it’s almost certain to be a music clip, and one I usually enjoy. Wayne Newton singing Danke Schoen? Damn that was good.

Bruce Springsteen was overseas and while there called Trump “treasonous.” I would support publicly ~~burning~~ responsibly destroying Bruce’s records, CDs etc.

I also like the idea of burning Bruce in effigy, but am concerned that it might be considered incitement to violence.

Got my first eye done yesterday and wow. Watching High Noon on TCM last night, through the old lens, the movie was sepia colored like an old photo. Through the new lens, straight up silver screen. I had no idea how yellow everything had become.

I’m a big boy and can decide to click on links for myself.

The Hoover building should become a museum to brutalist architecture.

SCOTUS is setting up a crisis. They won’t like the outcome.

About a week ago, we were swamped with the projectionism of irreligious leftists who waxed endlessly about what they wanted to see in the next pope. They were shivering in excitement at the prospect of a pope even more ‘progressive’ than francis. Then Leo XIV was presented to us, and there was much hay made about his reposting of critical tweets of trump.

Now, they are failing to hide their disappointment as Leo XIV, affirms marriage is between a man and a woman.

The fact that this is even considered newsworthy signifies a nail in the coffin of western society.

If statements like the one quoted above are representative of his thinking, he will be exceptionally better pope than francis.

I and many other people find them annoying and never click on them. These posts basically mean that the commenter thinks that his time to write a short description of the link is more valuable than the time of readers.
