well the question is who is really in charge in pakistan, and who do they answer to, the suspicion, is that pakistan has more affirmatively allied with China, as they have been done since they were the go between with the Nixon administration in the 70s, Lop Nor provided technology to the Kahuta reactor, which supplied their nuclear weapons program

Deals include incentives and disincentives. The latter might merely be the loss of the former.
But what’s in it for Pakistan to keep a thump on the terrorists? Too much effort there would start its own problems at home.

On the other hand, if the terrs do as they’re told, which is to stay home and quit killing people, that will demonstrate Pak’s control over them, going and coming.
