The only drawback is that the transcriptions are clearly voice-to-text with no post-production editing. For instance, when they were talking about (former Secretary of State) Blinken, the transcription had “blinking” — which is kind of funny, but you have to fill in some of those things in all of these transcriptions.

He is probably correct in his first statement, overly dramatic and wrong in his second; and problematical in his third: how much worse can Gaza get, and what might get better in other parts of the region?

The main problem is that Haass, like almost every other leftist pundit, still doesn’t get Trump: he makes an outrageous (to some people) suggestion as an opening bid; the idea is for those who oppose it to make an offer that’s less extreme; and then they do a deal.

I agree with David about wanting a transcription, but I suspect the usual automatic voice-to-text software would totally mangle the Rabbi’s words; they do a bad enough job with rather simple English, if it goes outside the limits of a fifth-grade vocabulary.

I did enjoy listening to him outlining the major opinions, and their sub-headings; making comparisons between them; and giving examples of what the different Jewish authoritative teachers have said.
