Vivek Ramaswamy is also very serious about budget cutting and making Washington more efficient and I think he’s done a lot more homework than Musk on the subject. Tulsi Gabbard would also be a strong resource in this area. Ron DeSantis would almost certainly work on this also, if asked.

Trump may have found the perfect job for him. We saw how he made X more efficient, by streamlining it, letting a lot of extraneous folks go, but then making it better and adding more features. Imagine applying that thought to the government that our tax dollars pay for. And he’s so excited to get started on it.

Trump Transition Co-Chair Howard Lutnick asked Musk how much spending he thought the Department of Government Efficiency could reduce in the wasteful budget. Musk answered that he thought they could cut $2 trillion. Imagine, people serious about the concept of eliminating taxes and reducing federal spending.

Pointing out that big spending causes inflation, Musk exclaimed, “Your money is being wasted and the Department of Government Efficiency is going to fix that!”

He continued, “We’re going to get the government off your back and out of your pocketbook…The future is gonna be amazing!”

I think he may be more at risk of assassination now than even Trump.
Hope some of his billions go to a good security team.

I try to be didactic, not accusatory, but there are just some ridiculous premises that need to be dismantled, more licensing of marijuana will not make society more
stable,
I disagree with Trump on this score
this has been proven in many other instances, in states from the Pacific NorthWest to the North East, this form of reefer madness, which has been proffered sans evidence, along with this is the collapse of law and order that those critical legal wizards have wrought from New York to Seatttle, as far south as Memphis, is not conducive to a stable society, the loss of reliable electricity, affordable staples, all of these things are threatened by the Harris beast slouching toward your city and town, not to mention the cognitive lunacy of transgenderism, or dezinforma, or any of a dozen other elements,
the phantoms of project 2025 that keep getting propped up while real up and coming threats are ignored,
this contempt for Christianity, its only been the foundation of the West for 2,000 years if imperfectly carried out,
