Knowing what I know of Islam, these conquests into enemy territory ate for religious but personal gains, rape & pillage and return to your village. These were not a country taking hostages this was Hamas fighters. You should not be surprised the hostages can be anywhere, sold to others anywhere or killed and disposed of.

Christianity originated in Israel. It used to be prevalent in Turkey. Today the “river to the sea” crowd is focused on the Jews and Israel, that is just first things first. The “river to the sea” adherents don’t intend to stop with just the Jews or Israel.
