}}} "Eagle Pass is today’s Fort Sumter. Biden must federalize the Texas National Guard.” Subheadline: “The standoff between Gov. Abbott’s tin soldiers and U.S. Border Patrol is the greatest challenge to federal authority in 60 years. The president must act.”

Yeah, start a new Civil War, you idiots. Abbot's "Tin Soldiers" are not about to surrender. And I would wonder -- even after the Army officer purges -- how much of the Army is going to attack US citizens acting in rational defiance of Federal failure to do its job... as opposed to "reasonable and rational" orders from the Federal government. You're more likely to have entire companies, if not brigades or regiments -- stand down and refuse to act, in defiance of their dress-wearing male officers.

We really do live in the apocryphal interesting times.

Too much of government thinks that the power to order means the power to expect the following of orders. They seem unaware of the maxim, "Never give an order which you are not sure will be followed..."

I think we have more sheep these days than ever before, but it's still more than 25% who are not sheep. And the ones who are sheep are totally unable to do anything like make a decision and stand by it -- given that some of them cannot handle a restaurant menu these days. Literally.

So, the fun is about to heat up. I have to wonder if there actually will be a legitimate election, this year. :-/

Actually:

"Democrat Governors" vs. "Republican Governors" is almost exactly the same map.

Only *VT* has a GOP governor but hasn't sided with TX... yet.

And not a single Dem governor has sided with TX.

Quelle Suprise? I think not. :-D

I recently saw a comment by a Border Patrol official, recalling the time Biden officials falsely accused horseback Border Patrol agents of "strapping" illegals with reins. Although proven false, Biden officials never admitted as much more apologized. Don't expect any cooperation from BP, and rightly so.

Jordan Rivers--- In 1967 I and my "roommates" were very unmilitary looking, even after Basic Combat Training was completed, uniform or not. We were kids (although we thought we were the "life takers & heart breakers" created by Hollywood) and it took some of the adventures of military service to provide the finished product. However, we all took the oath and although creeping up on 80, the Oath is still there. Maybe not as good as were once were, we are good once as we ever were. Or close to it.

Same thing goes for police officers. The real police. Many of us oldsters have history of both... As long as my right index finger works I am a threat to bad people.

"...They paid out millions over a $15k dispute...."
"They' being the city? Or "they" being the tax-payers?
(Similarly with any lawsuit "Biden" might happen to lose....)

Glad that your family won.
Justice grinds slow but occasionally (even if it should be more often) prevails...

...military and law enforcement are probably mostly patriots, most of whom likely favor Olde English execution methods for the entire Biden family and Biden regime.

I frequent a mall near a major recruit training center. I often see what I presume are new boot camp graduates. Many of them look surprisingly soft and non-martial. I have to take another look to identify them, despite their distinctive clothing.

My family once sued a city for trespass. After they couldn’t produce evidence of an easement, they claimed an implied easement. Claimed the property was worthless and they could just take it without compensation. Took seven years to resolve. They paid out millions over a $15k dispute. Make the loser’s lying lawyers pay would stop some of this.
