You may have explored this option already and found it wanting, but JIC …

My landscaper now sends me an email with his monthly invoice created by QuickBooks. I can select electronic payment via various CC’s or directly from my bank. I use the bank EFT option. I clink on the applicable button in the email, and pull up a web page with a pre-established billing amount, enter my bank routing and account info, send it on, and see a “success” page that allows me to copy and/or print a receipt. Later I also get a confirmatory email from QuickBooks with a copy of the receipt.

My idea may not work if this system requires a specific “amount due” ahead of time, but perhaps you could create an “any amount due” billing template that your contributors could down load, fill in their preferred amount, and pay via the email buttons.

It seems straightforward enough, although there may be some objectionable payment network being used under the covers – I can’t speak to that.

Not sure, but you might have to (or want to) incorporate as an LLC, perhaps calling your company “Green Apple, LLC.” 🙂
