I don’t think anyone seriously believes that the FBI and DOJ are better now than they were during the Trump administration. Both are almost certainly worse under Garland.

The problem is they don’t just “goad”, they also seem happy to false flag and act as provocateurs.

The only way to change any of this is to win elections.

Which is nice in theory but also kind of overstated. You also seem to be massively understating the amount of corruption and fraud involved, as well as how important muscular, mass shows of will and mobilization are. I know that many protest groups played an integral role in securing the 2000 Florida elections from… let’s just say “Very Suspicious” behavior by Gore partisans that would probably have undercut the chain of custody for votes with the intention of giving their man the win. That has played out less dramatically but at least as importantly since there.

You might say that it isn’t 2000 anymore and that is absolutely true, but you need a certain background level of buzzing and mobilization.

Maybe the FBI actually violated the law here, but maybe not.

If it was legal I would not expect the FBI to be acting so shadily about it.

If what the FBI did was legal, you can bet your bottom dollar that Democrats won’t lift a finger to ban it. That would limit their power. Complaints, especially complaints from Trump, are going to be ignored by partisan Democrats and the relatively non-political alike, just as the J6 complaints have been ignored outside of right-leaning circles.

I think you are underestimating the power of the drip drip developments here. It is going maddeningly slowly, that is true, but the revelations are starting to leak into the more “Mainstream” and they are having an effect. Victory Girls Blog and a few others have covered leftist or centrist confessions that they believed lies about January 6. So they are having an effect. That doesn’t mean they will have ENOUGH of an effect, but we are not helped by ceasing complaints on these issues. Especially with proof.

Politics is a spectator sport, for better or worse. The main focus should be on voter integrity, but we must continue airing these complaints and engaging in at least a few protests, especially when they can be used to help safeguard the vote and deter fraud.

The things I put in my previous comment. Are you asking for a detailed list? It’s long. I hesitate to bore people. tl dr is get together with your-like minded neighbors and take over your school board and local elections, and work for secure and transparent elections. Or move to a deep red state whose government can and will try to protect you from what the Federal government will do.

It may or may not be possible to win that election, but winning it doesn’t even come close to being enough. It hasn’t been 1980 for a long time now.

They have had control of the executive branch for a lot longer than that. Trump never had control of the executive branch, and it’s arguable that Bush had much. When you elect a new President, only a few people at the top change. The rest are career civil servants impossible to fire. They drag their feet when a Republican is elected and they go at warp speed when a Democrat is elected.

Federal elections mean very little at this point. What states do you think a Republican Presidential candidate will win? The only 2020 states in play are NV, AZ, MN, WI, MI, PA and GA. 87 Electoral College votes, and Republicans have to win 35 of them. Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Nevada are already fortified for democracy, so that leaves Republicans having to get 35 out of the remaining 36.

Happy to hear what you think the scenario is, that has the Republican candidate holding all of Trump’s states plus GA and 2/3 of MN, WI, and MI.

MN just changed its law so that CPS can take your child if they can’t get gender-affirming therapy, so lots of luck.
