I love dancing, especially with my wife. And before Lent, Slovakia has a ball season where we go out.
Dancing! It’s wonderful.
In college I took some courses:
Ballroom. Modern. Modern. Folk. Folk. Tap dance (fun!). Jitterbug.
I surprised my fiance before we got married by taking dance lessons with her – all Slovak high school students take a ballroom dance course.

I would have liked more break dancing & male streetdancing (THANKS, Michael J!), but I was already old for that. I left modern dance because it was too … gay-ish.

Now I’m also doing Karaoke, almost every weekend – so I’ve started practicing.

All of dancing, and karaoke, and most performing, including sports competition, has a sort of out-of-body full concentration experience. I remember also college boxing for 2 years – total concentration. (FAR more exhausting than any other exercise – if you pause, you get beat, and it HURTS!)

Question: Why are the Democrats such terrible liars?
Answer: Obviously, since they know the media firmly has their backs, they don’t really have to sharpen their skills in that department.

PA+Cat, thanks much for making sure that I noticed that particular gem.
The heart goes out, it really does.
That poor, poor, um, a….person.
Traveling is hard enough these days as it is….
Good to know, OTOH, that the TSA is so utterly devoted to ensuring the safety of all travelers, even if they do occasionally seem to get a tad overzealous.
Can’t be an easy job. Certainly not one that I’d want to do.
In any event, I’m sure that that poor, poor, um…person, in spite of the misunderstanding, appreciates their efforts.
No doubt the next time she flies she’ll invest in a little common-sense protection to prevent any more unpleasant surprises.
Chalk it up as a learning experience, gratis…
