I think the allegation is that the heart attacks were caused by stun grenades landing very close to them. I think that is almost impossible to prove. I have seen video of both of their deaths and although it’s impossible from the video to determine exactly how they died it is clear that fellow protestors were trying desperately to administer CPR and save their lives while Capitol Police officers for the most part acted with indifference.

It is standard practice in government jobs or jobs under the thumb of the government to report all “injuries” no matter how trivial under the reasoning that some trivial injuries may develop into serious ailments, and the injured worker will be SOOL from the employer because he won’t be able to show the serious ailmemt started with an on the job injury.

Exactly! I remember back in the’70’s when I was a police officer in Detroit for a while, on one of my first days on the job I was kicked in the leg during an arrest. It was minor, didn’t even leave a bruise. However I was told to go to the ER so that it could be recorded as an officer “injured in the line of duty”. Being a police officer is a dangerous job and many are seriously injured every day, but you can’t always believe the numbers. I suspect that given the narrative that needed to be maintained that day, of those 114 many if not most were either minor or non- existent.
