And their voters are fine with it.

Their voters are fine with it. They are cheering for it. Punishing anyone and everyone for a different opinion. Disagreement is an offense worthy of prison.

Those who disagree from the liberal narrative are not considered human. The same constitution which protects liberals should not be available to conservatives. And isn’t.

The evil is deep and pervasive.

In 1929, as part of the Teapot Dome scandal,, Albert Fall, Harding’s Secretary of the Interior, was found guilty by a DC jury of taking bribes from Edward Doheny, an oilman. Toss him in the klink! cried the jury. In 1930 a different DC jury found Doheny not guilty of offering Fall bribes. No klink for you Mr. Oil Millionaire! cried the second jury.

First result: DC juries are a safe as a lap dog with rabies.

Second result: his fortune largely intact, Doheny left his millions in trust for his heirs. One of the heirs was the SF writer Larry Niven,, who didn’t have to struggle so hard at the beginning of his career.

The documents show that the special prosecutor staff was all partisan Democrats, met with Judge John Sirica against all legal rules, leaked stories and shared information with the Watergate committees, and flat out lied to the grand juries.

I saw his lawyer say the appeal was “bulletproof.” I hope he’s right. It sounded good.

Bannon better not be jailed during the appeal. He could serve his term and the case would be reversed. Entirely in the judge’s discretion re: jailing during the appeal. The DC Circuit could slow walk the appeal.
