The information does not reflect the additional gas to be supplied by the new NordStream II pipeline, which is in final stages of commissioning but is not yet in utilization (and is now subject to both German and US sanctions)

And China is stepping up to ‘help’ Russia should they have any problems meeting their ‘commitments’. I’m sure some of Russia’s customers have higher priority than others.

Being able to blame any increased inflation in the U.S. (highest in 40 years and still rising) on Putin through a coordinated media campaign is, other than electoral fraud, the only hope the democrats have to avoid the coming electoral tsunami they face in November.

Surely that could not be the Biden administration’s reason for their refusal over the past few weeks to call Putin’s bluff… namely that the US led NATO putting in writing that it would not allow further eastward expansion. Putin’s primary condition seconded by the removal of offensive weapons systems from Poland, etc.

Since Putin must be lying about his expressed conditions, why not call him on it? If he renegs, what have we lost? His reneging on what he says he wants would eliminate them from any further consideration. Putin would then be the one tearing up NATO’s offer to stop expanding eastward.
