I’m pretty sure I saw it in my early 20s and it may have literally been in a Hallmark store, or on a teacher’s desk or in a cheap frame on someone’s particle board bookshelf. Until looking it up, just now, I always assumed it was someone famous. When I did encounter it all those years ago it hit me immediately as I recognized it was a huge, personal problem. I was a legend in my own mind, always concocting long lists of wonderful things I was going to do for others. But somehow I never got around to them.
