For the media, there is no “Left, ” just as there is no Antifa. The Left is comprised of individuals, and it is wrong to judge the Left by the mistakes of an individual.

But the Right is a movement, and anything done by a member of the Right applies to every member of the Right.

Unfortunately, many on the Right accept this unequal narrative, apologizing for the actions of conservatives, while warning against using too broad a brush in criticizing liberals.
