I suppose if you wake up on St Bartholomew’s day morning and find you are being hunted on the basis that you have fair skin, then you are “white” by some measure whether you will it or no … for all practical , or survival, purposes.

But if you are trying to establish a solidarity group in anticipation of such events, and trying to determine who is to be granted automatic admission and entitled thereby to all the privileges and immunities appertaining thereunto; you have a more challenging problem.

Well, Zaphod … the first difficulty with your construction, all moral considerations pushed off to the side for now, is that there is no coherent referent in the actual world to match the term “White People” as you employ it.

That is not to say that “Whiteness” is as woke social critics would have it, a purely ideological construction, but rather that ostensibly identifiable “White People” distributively share nothing in common as essential moral, or intellectual, or esthetic characteristics; or virtually any other universally discernible attributes including psychological sensibilities and preferences … apart from the designation “White”.
