I like Donald Trump’s message and I believe his unvarnished, blunt, and abrasive approach is part of his crafted public persona, designed for maximum effect – it makes me really appreciate the exasperation from the appointed conservative media whenever they’re discussing his Tweets. But there are times when I wish that VDH had been on Trump’s executive staff over the past term to advise him with his perspective, and maybe even be its public face once in a while.

Our Covid binge watching has been 1970s/1980s British historical dramas. I highly recommend *Fall of Eagles*, a 1974 series about the simultaneous fall of the Habsburg, Hohenzollern and Romanov dynasties. Patrick Stewart as Lenin is superb. I don’t think I need to elaborate more.
