You will be a “White Supremacist”, an insurrectionist, or any other label that justifies dragging you in for questioning. And we know what happens when the FBI questions someone they have in their sights. One person’s paranoia is another’s realistic assessment.

If I sound pessimistic, then you read me correctly. However the good news is that at 82, I am concerned with a higher power than that of our out of control government and society. I do grieve a bit for children and grandchildren who have no inkling of what they are passively abetting.

On a positive note, I was with a childhood friend of my daughter over the weekend. She is a flaming Liberal, and we had agreed not to communicate via electronic means in the past. But, we found that face to face we could have a rational conversation. We did not agree on anything much, but at least we could discuss our opinions. So, that was a pleasant interlude.

That’s more of the ‘guilty until proven innocent’ thinking.

All of this originated in the FISA court, which was set up to oversee requests for surveillance against foreign spies in the US….and it now appears it was used to wiretap (or log?) Trump’s personal lawyer handling personal business matters related to a personal relationship he had 12 years ago. Wouldn’t this be, at best, an possible FEC violation? Not national security.

Don’t you love the latest posturing from Rod Rosenstein? He claims to be the last bulwark upholding the rule of law. Like HE’s the Sir Thomas Moore stopping the various Mr. Richs from the White House. I guess we’re supposed to have forgotten that as an officer of the court he knowingly(?) misrepresented the veracity of the Trump dossier to the FISC. Are the judges of the FISC really this toothless or do they just not care?

Seriously, this isn’t reporting about a port commissioner in Biloxi or something this is a major story with ramifications that are endless and for the media to continually make these ‘mistakes’ is beyond troubling.
