The other day I caught a glimpse of this hot looking chick [though one couldn’t see much of the face] who I thought was a photo of some English [the hat] Derby Day model from the mid sixties; and paid it no more attention.

It was the first lady, it turns out. Like the hair … what I could see of it, too.

Surprised me because she’s a little too “exotic” looking for my taste. The hat must shade her eyes and emphasize the lower face.

Melania looks great, as always! I like that she takes some risks.

I think a lot of designers are still boycotting her (have said they don’t want her to buy/borrow heir clothes), but that hasn’t harmed her one bit. Their loss.

Got into a discussion recently regarding First Lady Melania’s almost non-existent appearance on magazine covers vs. First Lady Michelle, who appeared on dozens of covers. IMO, media bias has a lot to do with it (would be terrible to “normalize” the gorgeous, gracious, proud immigrant and former fashion model wife of the current prez!) But on the other hand, a magazine cover generally has a feature article that goes with it, and maybe Melania would prefer to to avoid those interviews and the hostile and intrusive questions that would likely go along with them.

Regardless, she looks fantastic in this outfit and basically everything she puts on. And she has certainly maintained her dignity and class in the face of everything that has been thrown at her and her family since the election.

I remember in the 2nd grade discovering girls were intriguing and had a certain desirability that I could not articulate at the time. Not all girls but especially the petite ones and even the plain Jane ones who had nice personalities. I ended up with a petite beauty that still flips my switch after almost 5 decades.
