His 17 year old foster daughter committed suicide by immolation while sitting at the controls of her vehicle.

Which smells like a raped and murdered victim.

She’d been with him less than two-months.

The series of assaults (have to insert “alleged” here, given the trial outcome) started in the mid-1960s (8 counts) after he made it to prime-time TV in “I Spy” (loved that show, btw); 1970s (15); 1980s (17); 1990s (4).

THEN “In 2005, Andrea Constand tells police that Cosby assaulted her a year earlier at his mansion in Cheltenham, Penn. The former Temple University employee said he invited her home after a dinner, gave her pills for stress and tension, then helped her to a sofa when she became dizzy and sick. She awoke with her clothing in disarray. She said she drove herself home and decided not to report what happened to police because of Cosby’s fame and her position as a women’s basketball administrator. Instead, she said she contacted a lawyer. ” — and settled her lawsuit out of court (Cosby did NOT stand trial in a criminal rape case).

Same story as most of them, drugged and assaulted, and they all thought: “who would believe me?” —
Again, not defending – I have no doubt he did what was alleged, and repeated it because no one challenged him at the beginning.

But there is no question that plenty of people knew what Cosby was doing – they believed what the victims were saying — and yet for 40 years NO ONE said anything about it publicly, even people (not the victims themselves) to whom Cosby was no immediate threat.

Except to their livelihoods, of course.
And then he crossed the line and challenged the Narrative.

But then the Left let that challenge lie dormant for another decade.

Why? Because he was about to go back out and take the stage again — and the Left couldn’t have that.

For Cosby to commit these assaults against multiple victims over several years, there had to be a network of willfully blind wallflowers at best, or people willing to aid him in committing these sexual crimes at worst. As I told the Daily Mail, when I was a teenager, his assistants transported me to hotels and events to meet him. When I blacked out at Cosby’s home, there were several staffers with us. My agent, who introduced me to Cosby, had me take a pregnancy test when I returned from my last trip with him. Talent agents, hotel staff, personal assistants and others who knowingly made arrangements for Cosby’s criminal acts or overlooked them should be held equally accountable.”

But they won’t be, even if Cosby had been found guilty as charged. They are not the target.

The memory of how Cosby came across in public, his genial, wise, and moral public persona, and the sterling characters he played as an actor, made it impossible for the jurors to imagine that he was the type of person who would commit the crimes he was accused of.

Moreover, his celebrity and power in the Entertainment Industry made his victims–often in the Entertainment Industry themselves, and struggling to gain a foothold in it–hesitate to accuse him, and made his threats against them very believable.

In the 60’s overseas we loved his LP party records especially when he did the routine of Noah getting instructions from G-d to build an Ark. All of that stuff was great. ”
