As we approached one of the larger trees, with the sun behind our backs, a literal shower of golden leaves sifted down onto the path in front of us, a cloud nearly 6 feet from one side to the other. The fall lasted for about 20 seconds, long enough to register, but not so long we could whip out our cameras and take a video.
Which is okay.

Fall ’tis Nature’s way of saying WINTER’s coming. The world transitions from bursting life to the time when nature rests, getting ready to bring forth the renewal of spring.
