Yes. I have had friends who were landlords, and stories they tell are amazing. Like the family that never took out the trash. They just opened the basement door and threw the trash down. However, it is a vicious cycle, and I don’t know, but I suspect once cycling through eviction it becomes easier to be jaded and turn into a bad tenant. The original was meant as a laugh line, but ‘some people are born bad tenants, some achieve bad tenant status, and others have bad tenant status thrust upon them’. Many families are one or two paychecks from being on the streets.

There are places who will refuse a lease to a person who has been recently evicted. What is left is less desirable, and more likely to be populated with others, which makes things worse. I dunno, how do we stop the cycle, and get people going straight? If they even want to get out of the cycle?

A Chicago-based communist revolutionary group blamed by Milwaukee’s police chief for stoking a second day of violence said that some of its members did go there to “support a revolution” but didn’t set out to cause trouble.

Police chief Ed Flynn said members of a Chicago chapter of the Revolutionary Communist Party turned what had been a peaceful night into a tense one by leading marchers down several blocks at around 11:30 p.m. TV footage showed a small group of protesters walking or running through the streets, sometimes toppling orange construction barriers.

“The (communist group) showed up, and actually they’re the ones who started to cause problems,” Flynn said at a news conference Monday.

what you read are african americans who are being profiled, and dont like it. but NOT ONE OF THEM wants to say that the reason they get the crap they are getting is because of the thugs and others in their own group that act out in such a way that people are afraid of them. they also dont see the benefits fo themselves of the behavior they are subjectd to, like not being robbed or having your house cleaned out
