Athenian democracy was poisonous. Just like the US version when they lost and killed the Republic.

All the more important that each individual must be held to account and must hold others to account, including people society has placed over them, such as the police, lawyers, politicians, and leaders.

Relying on dear leaders or police protectors to guard and watch themselves, was the mistake to begin with. You will find, OM, that allowing the police to kill all the Socrates like enemies of the state, will not avail you of much in the end. What’s easy is allowing the media, your leaders and your Leftist police unions, to dictate what the truth is.

If it was easy, police county level SWAT teams would be able to find the right address in their hit list.

Allowing the State to take care of you, is one additional step into hell, just don’t blame it on others when your own actions bring you your logical reward.

They could have, should have ….. is easy, The officer took a bullet in the head as part of the job, but was fortunate to have been wearing a good enough helmet.

Learning from what worked and didn’t is not as easy in many cases IMO. Especially if fundamental assumptions are flawed.

Victor Davis Hanson has pointed out that a major strength of the west (in warfare) is the critique and questioning of what worked, what failed, and why. He also points to democracies’ propensity to jump to quick “easy” solutions offered to the people from “leaders” that didn’t work.

Second guessing without facts from the incident doesn’t help much.

I also said the Daily Mail, for the past few years, were much more accurate. They, like tabloids, actually have their own reporters. Everything you read from Yahoo and other American networks are from the AP, Associated Press. It’s like Journolist, they are ALL in on it, one way or another. They use the same editors, headlines, propaganda posters, everything is fit to form.

Which is why Daily Mail has pictures you don’t see duplicated. They actually seem to hire their own photographers and researchers and reporters. They don’t just buy into the AP bank. They’re almost like tabloid sources, thus, scooping for some stuff. Which makes the British press “bad” for celebrities, but good for the rest of us who want actual content.

Another Waco 2 will happen and people will still be blaming it on biker clubs trying to shoot each other, without an impartial analysis of the authorities and their justifications.

If people are so shaking in their boots to question their Authorities and Government sanctioned assault squads, that’s their problem. A Republic they didn’t manage to keep.

Besides, if the Orlando SWAT team performed to spec or above the expected results, people should be dissecting their SOP to figure out what makes them different from the rest. Maybe they received real military and police training, and not from CAIR. That would be something people should broadcast and learn about, if they were paying attention to ensuring their own Security Instead of Outsourcing it to their Masters.

I am watching Hillary and she is talking about what she is going to do to stop terrorism if elected. More sanctions, attack ISIS, stop selling “weapons of war” etc.

I’m thinking why didn’t you do this at State? What has Obama been doing the past seven years?

Now she said “hate crimes against Muslims and mosques” have tripled.”

More bathroom equality. More inclusion, more sharing of pain, and drama. That is what is needed. Then all will be well.
