My best high school friend was the son of a Dane.

Not any Dane.

His father was in the PERSONAL bodyguard protection detail for the Danish king.

They — detail and king — escaped the SS ( weird that the Heer was not used ) and raced off to England.

I remember an article in Newsweek end of the eighties were us Europeans were admonished to stop being racists and all the problems with immigration was on us.
