Mom&#039;s Coffee Cake

Sift:
 1 cup cake flour
 1/2 cup sugar
 3 tsp baking powder
 1 tsp cinnamon
 1/2 tsp salt

Add
 1/2 cup milk
 1 beaten egg
 2 tbsp melted butter

mix with spoon
butter a 8x8 shallow pan
bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes
remove from oven

topping:
mix
 2 tbsp sugar
 1 tsp cinnamon

spread topping over entire cake
dot cake with very thin slices of butter
makes about 9 servings]]></description>
