OK, but that doesn’t have anything to do with what you were talking about, which is that teaching people that they are at war with the country in which they live and the values of that country does create a problem.

In classic leftist style, JR creates a strawman, vaguely related to what you said, to knock down, and then claims to have refuted your argument.

BTW, JR, orthodox Jewish children are taught this principle of Jewish law – “dina malchuta dina” — the law of the land is the (Jewish) law.

I think Iraq allowed some of the inherent contradictions of the Left to pop out, given the internet. They couldn’t hide it as well as they did in Vietnam.

So it became a lot easier for people with Eyes, to see what was really going on, as the Left’s exposed assets and strategic capabilities that normally the MSewerM would have successfully hid from the native eyes of American patriots or intel analysts.

It is a Christians duty to preach the Gospel and all that entails. Just letting a bunch of practitioners of a false religion into your country, and providing them with material goods, but not the Holy Spirit will do no one any good. I am sure both Ann and Mr. Warren believe that this will provide an opportunity to show our “Christian Charity”, which will convert some people. Fine, maybe a small percentage will, but we could instead gain a little courage and go over there and do the same thing. That way, the citizens of their respective countries could change the political situations in their own countries, resulting in fewer Islamic regimes.
