Because they have only been ubiquitous to the middle class for a decade. They’ve only been adopted widely among the lower class in the last few years.

I also deeply discount the “only 4 bad shoots” statistic. Remember that even in a plainly-clear murder in NC, where the cop shot the suspect in the back as he was fleeing, it was initially ruled as a good shoot based on the perjurous corroboration from other cops, until the video surfaced.

Given my history as a white kid in a black neighborhood, I’ve seen the real side of the police. They might be your friend, but they are not on the side of black people, criminals or the law abiding. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. The cops will beat and even kill black people in situations where they would do no more than handcuff a white person who was acting identically.

The American Police (and the prison system, inmates and guards both) are the last great bastions of full on racism in this country. We’ve eradicated it from all the other aspects of society — but it thrives there, behind the thin blue line (including the black cops — they are cops before they are black.)

And remember, at least one of those bikers arrested was an off-duty cop. So, yea, we are on our own.

What an interesting approach- take facts; apply logic, reason and common sense; write down conclusions. The MSM could use this approach, but they won’t. Kudos!

One other point- American culture is devolving, esp. black American culture; while police are being more militarized each day. Apply logic, reason & common sense to that, and you get explosions. Which we are!

Thus if blacks are given an order to wage a riot in a city and kill police, they will Obey. If police are given orders to crack down on blacks or whites or crims, they will Obey.

If both were ordered to kill the rest of you, they would also Obey.
