Yep, that is what it is coming down to; reminds me of the news article the other day where a group of black men beat up a white guy on a St. Louis train when he didn’t answer their question about what he thought of the Michael Brown case.

As, I have mentioned before – I’ve run into confrontations with blacks on the subway in the NYC area in just the last couple of years. Those starting these fights just seemed to be looking for a fight – it doesn’t matter what it is about. Just someone who is an “other” to them to pick on.

Going after small mom & pop places is a part of their targeting the “other.”

It makes me wonder if it isn’t due to frustration of their golden boy Obama turning out to be a dud and they don’t know how to handle the disappointment that he actually wasn’t the second coming?

Time to connect the dots.

Dana Loesch (or a member of her staff) set it up for them so that they could remodel and reopen and not be destroyed by the Gay Nazi’s.

Limbaugh started pushing it today and has gotten it up to over $700k. It would be nice if decent people got it up to one million.

Why? I choose to give Mrs. Firefly power of attorney and possession of my assets should I shuttle this mortal coil, and legal paperwork exists that codify those decisions, but one should not be forced to do so simply because two people are romantically involved. It’s true, 90+% of people who have children with another will do the same (at least until 1/3 or more separate), but just because that’s what a majority choose doesn’t mean the concepts are linked to romantic love, or marriage.

Try the opposite. Let’s say my state legislature decides the Catholic church is bigoted since it does not perform homosexual weddings and a law is passed that Catholic Priests can no longer marry couples and any couple residing in my state who was married by a Catholic Priest must attend a ceremony presided over by a state appointed judge.

Do you think Mrs. Firefly and I will have such a ceremony? (Hint: the answer is no.) Do you think we will not consider ourselves married if we do not? (Hint: the answer to this question is the same as the answer to the prior question.)

Render unto Caesar what is Caesars. If you and others want to give Caesar jurisdiction over romance… Well, good luck with that.

Some do; others are along for the ride like ‘workers’ in the labor movement were in the past. Being used in the same ways to further another agenda. In this case; attacking the classical liberal concept of free association. If your a racist or a bigot for asserting a right to do business with who you want…. you can’t assert a right to control your own healthcare or other contractual choices….
