And NOW?
Now the Heritage Foundation has put a price tag on funding this new class of immigrants. It is now reported that it will cost you and me $2 Trillion for these newly minted immigrants.
The gift that keeps on giving; Obama.

(I’ll probably mock Westneat for that, tomorrow, by pointing out what a sharp critique he is making, implicitly, of Obama’s record as president.)

What worries me is that these journalists seem actually to believe their own arguments.

He’s neither led nor worked nor been active in presidential leadership more than 2-weeks collectively since 1/20/2009. Loathsome and vastly pathetic.

And, if these newly legalized illegal aliens are not immediately eligible for the entire cornucopia of federal benefits, you can be sure that–all in the interests of fairness, dontchaknow (remember all those little children with big eyes that cry themselves to sleep at night)–little by little, they will be granted them.

So, when Obama assures us that “they will have to pay taxes”–so everything is all right–he knows that many of them won’t pay taxes at all but, instead will get tens of thousands of dollars in taxpayer money given to them each year via the EITC checks they will now be eligible for.

For instance, was anyone aware that, since under this new “wise“ policy millions of illegal aliens are required to pay taxes, if they do they immediately become eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and since there will be hundreds of thousands of low income earners included in that five million, these low income families will be receiving hefty EITC checks–whose amount will rise each year–paid for by taxpayers.

For example, a family with two kids and making less than $20,000 per year would be eligible to receive a check from the Feds for an average of $14,590 dollars per year, and parents who make less than the threshold would receive $3,305 if they have one child, $5,460 if they have two (see http://dailycaller.com/2014/11/20/obama-u-s-taxpayers-must-pay-for-illegals-children/ ).

This calls to my mind something Rush Limbaugh mentioned almost in passing recently. I shall paraphrase:

Imagine President Sarah Palin deciding, with the enthusiastic approval of her political backers, that she has waited and waited long enough for Congress to act to make abortion illegal — and she goes right ahead and proceeds to bypass Congress and unilaterally, with a stroke of her pen, rules that throughout our land, all abortions are now illegal.

Imagine.
