I’m not a prude when it comes to comedy and entertainment, but I get so tired of seeing it in places where it’s unnecessary. I like comedy a lot, but crudity is often the lowest common denominator, a “cheap” laugh.

We enjoyed it quite a bit (although it could have been less crude in parts). Over the ensuing weeks we found each other referencing it more and more when we saw absurd things in everyday life. Eventually we started getting a bit sad about it. It really is happening.

I could easily see an MMA champion winning the Presidency and 90% of the “logic” uttered by environmentalists is along the lines of, “electrolytes, they’re what plants crave.”

That said, I love that scene very very much. It reminds me of my nearly everyday experiences calling businesses with automated phone systems.
