He used his standing in the SS to deliberately recruit psychos from German prisons — ESPECIALLY if they were imprisoned for violent crimes, anti-Semitic crimes. Some were serving LIFE SENTENCES until recruitment.

As an American, I’m ashamed and embarrassed that FDR did not intervene and rule in favor of Hitler’s victims. IIRC, when American Jewry attempted to stump up pledge monies to establish a general waiver for fleeing Jews, the FDR administration wouldn’t accept it. FDR stayed stuck on the scheme that required specific nominees to step up and pledge for each Jew.
