This reminds me, IIRC, of a doctor who theorized that ulcers were caused by bacteria. Since he wasn’t believed he swallowed the bacteria and gave himself an ulcer which he cured with antibiotics. He won a Nobel Prize.

Wow, I have a strong stomach and I can dress out a deer real fast with no problem and I can watch autopsy shows on TV while eating dinner but your posting about tapeworms just messed up my breakfast. The discussion of parasites in human bodies creeps me out and for a man to do that on purpose for scientific entertainment is really revolting.
