A terrible and very scary story, at the heart of which lies Western passivity, tolerance of the intolerant under due process and civil liberties, and welfare state funding. Progressivism has made this all possible, one might wonder if such is not actually desired by them.

It is all funded by Western petrodollars (our money!) and refusal to work to our self-interest. We had enough military assets in Saudi in 1991, I suspect, to seize the country from the Sauds. Bismarck would have considered such a move, but G.H.W. Bush? Nah, we were there to ‘free’ Kuwait, to not take Baghdad, and to leave Saddam in power.

You do not need to be a Harvard Kennedy School product to figure this stuff out.

He has too much sympathy, and possibly is loved, by the host of unmarried, unmarriageable, female government bureaucrats. Aw, but isn’t he handsome, I can almost here them whispering in their gaggles. A woman takes hubris for attractiveness, and standoffishness as desirable, be it a suitor in the know, a man with a plan, OR a psychopath. Women don’t seem able to differentiate.

And, like or not, even back when women were merely secretaries as to employ, they held great sway. Still do, only it is completely unhinged to controls.

I shudder to think that we all know damn well there are more like him out there. Hiding. Plotting. Shape shifting. Looking for the right opportunity and the enabling amount of laxity.
