I believe the word you want is “homing” with an “m”, as in “homing in on a target”. Honing, per my old dictionary, and my usage as a knife owner, is “sharpening”.

Beverly, people should really find out whether Deepthroat, the guy that gave Ayers his terrorist immunity, observed or ordered those guys to do it and then orchestrated the whole scandal release. Nixon’s office was bugged by at least the FBI, Pentagon, CIA, and various other political factions at the time.

I’m not a fan of ‘gates’. The Democrats attempt to get Reagan, or the Republican’s attempt to get Bubba. I even think that the attempt to cover up policy failure in Libya while regrettable, even despicable, is politics as usual. But suddenly, like Neo, it sounds all too familiar. Using the IRS against the Tea Party seems to subvert the democratic process just as much as burglarizing the opposition. If the electorate has an ounce of sense they will keep the shackles on in 2014. If there is one thing we want in a tax department it is fairness. Seems like an exploitable issue to me.
