But that’s why I spent the week prior to the 2012 election sick to my stomach. It was a feeling that wouldn’t go away, because I thought Obama was going to win. I kept listening to so many pundits saying Romney would be the victor, and I would comfort myself with the thought that I was a pessimist and that maybe they were right. But I never believed it—and my stomach most definitely did not believe it.

I am actually somewhat encouraged by all these scandals coming out. I didn’t think that would happen, and certainly not so soon (although of course it’s way late). I thought it would continue to be under cover.
