Obama’s actions reflect those of Third World tyrants who live high on the hog while their followers hope that some of the gravy will pass on through to them. Those who compare his royal flings to Bush’s so-called excesses have no sense of proportion.

I’ve known a couple men like that who worked for the taxpayers. They deemed it their just dues to go first class on the taxpayer’s dime. Just because. “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.”

Just as an aside: Give me the $7 mil and I’ll give half to a charity of my choice and live quite nicely in Hawaii permanently, not for just a few weeks.

On a site where there a lefties as well as righties, the comments you see from them are are typical whenever this sort of thing is mentioned. Instead of yes this is bad — it is always “Bush was just as bad or worse and nobody complained then”

“Why didn’t you complain about all of Bushes trips to Crawford, or all the weekends spent at Camp David.”

Conveniently ignoring the fact that:

1. They DID bitch and complain incessantly. But now that it is their Messiah, its all okay.
2. Crawford was Bush’s home. Obama is not flying back to a townhouse in Chicago — it is Ha-frickin Waii. Twice — over and back in 3 weeks.
3. Bush stayed in DC over Christmas so that his security and staff could have Christmas at home with their families. Obama is an inconsiderate a-hole, who obviously couldn’t care less about that.
4. Unemployment wasn’t 8% and the economy in a depression during most of Bush’s presidency.

But there is absolutely no point in even responding to the lefties.

Maybe our fellow Americans do wish for a king. Rudyard Kipling’s “The Man Who Would be King” had a tragic ending; when the people finally realized their God bled, they cut off his head. We should be so lucky.
After all is said and done, it’s hard to imagine this smug, arrogant man NOT making a fatal error that eventually exposes him for the incredible fraud that he is. Like the politician in the “Dead Zone” who holds up a baby to shield himself from the assasin. Nothing so dramatic, but something equally self-centered and deeply instintive.

He is ‘the man’. I mean, how much more ‘the man’ can you be than the president?

Perhaps ‘sticking it to whitey,’ would be more appropriate. We are inveterate racists, after all.
