I have always thought Obama was, well, not a nice man , and have been mystified that so many of my friends cannot see this clear fact. It is most likely far worse than that, and I also suspect malignant narcissism and -- even a spot of sociopathy, and the recent Libya mess and his recent lies, only magnify this suspicion. Something is off about this man, and that's the gist of it. The way he handled the last debate with Romney was pretty horrid, the death stare and the condescension and yes, the anger. The anger was way out of line with anything said by Romney.

We have got to get this man out of office. The executive orders and the "kill list" (I am all for a strong fight against the war on radical Islam however... this is unchecked power) and -- NDAA, all of that scares me. I sometimes just think the guy is a bumbler, but he does have that mean side.

I also agree Neo that the Alice Palmer betrayal laid his character out right away. I noticed that when I was still a Democrat. That really cemented the intuition I had that this guy was bad news.

Bob, yes the MSM deserves some blame, but, that "something wrong with the electorate", in 2008 was G.W. Bush. With the massive debt he left us and protracted war, he gave us Barry Sortero, aka, Barack Hussein Obama. He was the poster boy, the epitome of everything the left detests about the right in America. The electorate just could not imagine going forward with the Bush agenda. (and of course, McCain was a terrible candidate).

On the other hand, Mr. Sotero, who is the poster boy and epitome of everything the right hates about liberals and statism is about to send this same electorate running for the sanity and security of the grown ups.

Bob from Virginia: there's one difference between Minnesota and Ohio that could make a difference. The state officials such as Secretary of State and Attorney General in Minnesota are Democrats, whereas in Ohio they are Republicans.

As for Obama's craziness, let's give credit to where credit is due. The nature of his associates was known in 2008, his emotional problems where clear to anyone with real life experience. His intellectual prowess was obvious when he compared Al-Qaeda to the Soviet Union. But the public for some reason preferred someone with no moral compass, experience, and with clear emotional problems. The guilty party is the electorate of 2008.

The deserves some blame but not as much as generally given. Indeed when Palin became VP nominee and before the economy tanked the Repubs were ahead in spite of media hysteria. There was simply something wrong with the electorate in 2008 and until we identify it and correct for it there will be other sweet talking nutcases like Obama moving into positions of power.

BTW I hate to say this but even if Romney does initially carry Ohio he will lose it once the Dems start recounting ballots, like the Al Franken race in Minnesota. So Obama will probably be re-elected. Being a psychopath has its advantages.

The inflection point was long ago, in campaign time. It happened when people started to get a feel that a true winner doesn't need false polls. When exactly? The Chick-fil-a contest which energized the middle class and showed the nation what the true percentages are.
