Yes, core values are important for without core values the complex issues and situations of modern life are difficult to navigate. But life is not black or white or blue or red.

Eastwood seems to be a person who goes his own way. Aren’t all individualists the same way? I find much in common with the majority who post here, but there are areas where I differ with the neoneocon majority. IMO ‘conservatives’ need to accept a wider range of opinion on social issues and concentrate on fiscal conservatism and the most important issue of all: put DC back in the box labeled The Constitution of the United States of America.
