No one pays attention to politics during the summer. We’ll see some wild fluctuations in the polling during the next three months, but they’ll settle down to the May averages as soon as Labor Day hits. That’s when the campaigning begins in earnest.

I think even if unemployment rises this summer, the polls will all go back to the May averages despite the obvious toll that should take on Obama. Nobody pays attention to much of anything in the summer.

I hope Walker wins and wins big, by 5% or more. That will really shake up team Obama, congressional democrats, and the MSM.
