Let’s see, John Edwards had a child with his mistress while running for President. However, the MSM never knew a thing nor did they suspect a thing. Only the Enquirer found the story and finally made them hold their noses and barely acknowledge it. Does it make sense that these crack investigators have now been able to run to ground all these allegations and suddenly produce a living, breathing, talking woman to accuse Herman Cain of being a serial sexual harrasser.? My, the tiger has changed its stripes.

There should be credit card records for the hotel, restaurant, car, etc. Has Gloria Allred, or any of the MSM pursued those? Why were no questions allowed of Ms Bialick? Are their any witnesses, friends, etc. who can verify Bialick’s story? Short of some strong corroborating evidence, this is a classic she said, he said story. There was no harm, no foul, no laws broken except…….one of the parties is running for President. Electronic lynching? Sure looks that way for now. Hope Herman has his ducks lined up and defends himself vigorously.

Its 14 years after the alleged assault. Now she conveniently contacts Allred just in time to smear Cain as he surges forward and somehow this is supposed to be credible? This doesn’t pass the sniff test. It stinks like a dead skunk in the middle of the road.

Cain needs to stomp on this like a cockroach in a third world hotel. His should sue for defamation of character and bring this out into the open.

We need CSI or Monk or Columbo to recreate the event... Seriously, the scenario is ridiculous when one actually tries to envision it. Artfldgr, I wish I didn't have to work so hard and wade so far to get to your points. They're good ones. I can well believe this is an orchestrated effort to destroy Cain's political ambitions. I can't get past Allred bringing the accuser to the press. Everything she does is calculated to get her own face in the media while simultaneously destroying someone else's career.

I can’t imagine Cain doing something so crass and vulgar and it angers me that what is most likely happening is a smear by volume tactic. I hope all tea party candidates are taking notes and preparing their congressional and senate campaigns accordingly. I do take comfort in the general rule: Live by the sword, die by the sword.

2) How does an unknown from CHI suddenly become a “client” of Allred? Sought Allred out, huh? In what legal context? And what’s in it for Bialek? Surely more than 15 min of fame. She’s not suing anyone, so she says.
3) Travel and other costs incurred?
4) Somebody’s footing the bills.

Curtis, you remind me that I question the physical dynamics of her description. How can a fellow manage a simultaneous crotch attack and head pull? They were in a car, presumably beside each other in the front seats. To make the moves described, Cain is a gymnast or Stretch Armstrong.

I wonder if she can tell us anything about the car. But of course she’s not answering questions.

Maybe she’s not quite presenting the whole story…facts get fuzzy after 14 years stored in memory. Or maybe she is describing what she thought happened. The multi-cultis hold that everyone’s truth is as valid as any other.

Sounds more like by-a-lick got a case of jungle fever and upon not receiving her looked for prescription carried the fever, latent, until such time as she could once again enter into consideration. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. That to me makes as much sense as “he pulled my head into his crotch.”

I don’t think the idea is to destroy Cain; it’s just to stir the soup, and give the impression that any and all Republican candidates have clouds over them. If I were orchestrating such a campaign, I wouldn’t try to knock out any of the present candidates, but rather just see to it that they walked into press conferences with toilet paper stuck to their shoes.

The problem with knocking anyone out is that the opposing party might blindside you with a dark horse candidate you hadn’t previously considered/ investigated/ smeared. Why risk a wild card candidate when you can arrange to face a damaged known one?
