Funny how ordinary some radio stars actually look like, compared to the image you get from the voice. I hope he succeeds with his second (third, fourth, whatever) chance. Addiction is a deep canyon.

We are all a gimmick. Which is a rather cynical way of describing who we are as individuals and what we bring to the table of society.

I can say with certainty i’d find this guy’s voice superior to Oprah’s narrating a discovery channel nature show. More power to him if he lands such a job and even better if he planned in advance how it would all go down.

In reality, he’s just another radio announcer–there are 1000’s all over the dial. And many more 1000’s applying for their jobs.

Take the emotional “tug at our heartstrings” out of it, and it just might be a gimmick for this guy to get in the spotlight. What’s next? An interview on Oprah?
