Same place all your soups come from and anything else that uses stock as a base, it’s just got all the flavors and water removed which is a sterile clean process. If you can’t eat gelatin then there are MANY items you can not eat.

Really, if you think about it, many of the thing we eat are horrid. Honey is bee regurgitation (multiple times – it takes a few trips to get right), eggs come out of the chickens reproductive organs, manure is still a common fertilizer for vegetables (and is pretty much it if you eat the expensive “organic” varieties), and too many foods to name. Not to mention cheese is rotten milk solids and many of the “natural” varieties are still crawling with what spoiled them.

Until you have taken a living breathing animal and rendered it into steaks and such you do not know the meaning of “disgusting”.

Eating what is left after evaporating the water from boiling bones is pretty tame compared to most of our diet. Jello suddenly gains a lot of luster compared to other popular foods.
